Rock Of Ages
Illustration for Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre’s production of Rock of Ages.
The client approached Lantern Press and requested a 1-2 day turnaround for a completed image that would fit the aesthetic for their promotional material and the production itself. Because the show is set to classic rock from the 80s, I took inspiration from hair and glam metal styles from the decade. Because of the quick turnaround, I stuck to basic shapes and silhouettes and highlighted the key components of the setting with brighter pops of color.
